Features to know about

Long Miles Bring Wear – Heavy-Duty 1/2" Thick Shackles Keep It Tight

Rough roads and loaded miles can stretch out stock shackles fast. This MORryde upgrade kit fixes that with 1/2" thick steel shackle straps that are twice as strong as most factory parts. They keep the suspension tight and track straight, so your setup stays solid instead of wallowing or shifting under load.

No More Dry Joints – Greaseable 9/16" Wet Bolts Stay Lubricated

Creaks and worn holes come from parts that run dry. The wet bolts in this kit have built-in grease fittings that make it easy to keep every joint smooth. At 9/16" in diameter and up to 3-3/8" long, they hold firm and stay quiet when properly greased, cutting down on suspension wear and maintenance time.

Plastic Bushings Give Up Early – Bronze Bushings Last Longer

Factory plastic bushings can oval out and squeak after a few seasons. These 11/16" outer-diameter bronze bushings are built for the long haul. They hold their shape, run cool, and pair with the wet bolts to keep everything evenly lubricated and moving freely. That means fewer rebuilds and more dependable miles.

Easy Refresh for Aging Suspension – Complete Hardware, Clean Fit

When it’s time to tear down old hardware, this kit has everything needed to build it back better. It includes twelve 3-1/8" shackle straps, twenty-two bronze bushings, twenty-two locknuts, and a full set of wet bolts for triple-axle setups with double-eye leaf springs. The parts drop right in where the factory hardware came out, giving a clean fit and steady suspension without guesswork.

Ready for Rough Roads – Built to Extend Suspension Life

Every piece of this kit is designed to take abuse and keep rolling. The thick steel, bronze, and greaseable hardware combine to handle the pounding of rough pavement or off-pavement use while cutting down on costly wear in your equalizers and spring eyes. It’s a solid upgrade that turns a weak link into a reliable one.

Everything was as listed and packing was done really well. I did have leftover bushings as the MORryde pieces have the bushings already pressed in. Seems like there was a waste of parts as you cannot use these bushings to replace the ones installed in the MORryde kit.

by:

There's really no comparison as to how much better this shackle kit is. The original plastic bushings were totally disintegrated. Took the 5th wheel for a test drive after installing these and now with the wet bolts installed the suspension is 90% quieter when negotiating my serpentine driveway!

by:

My 2019 Coachman Freedom Express Liberty 320BHDS was chewing the inside treads of tires regardless of rotations. Thanks to Kyle B and Daylon H, your team quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended this suspension upgrade including new 6000lb leaf springs, u-bolts, equalizer and the MORyde wetbolt hardware kit. Installation took the better part of a weekend, but was a complete success. Be mindful of the torque specs and ensuring your RV is properly supported (including axles). Thanks to some recently cut stumps, I was able to support boths sides of the axles to safely torque bolts to 80lbs. RV rides about 1.5 inches higher, but nice and smooth. No noticeable camber with the tires now. Time will tell, but sincere thanks to Kyle and Daylon for taking their time to view my photos and answer questions.

Thanks

by:

Had a great experience with Etrailer, I had fast technical help finding the right product and quick shipping so I could make repairs before getting back on the road

by:

Haven't installed the parts just yet, but first impressions are that these shackles are really heavy duty. Plus the grease fittings and brass collars are great.

by:

Installation was pretty straightforward but it’s a little too early to tell how it’s going to perform as I’m not towing until next week.

by:

This is a fantastic product. The kit comes with everything that is needed. Not sure about longevity as I just purchased and installed but I am sure the the greasable pins are going to make a world of difference for wear. After 30k on the old suspension I am guessing these will never have to be changed.

by:

Lori was great she was able to cancel my first order on my second order she was able to get it shipped asap The package arrived as she said it would .

Working great haven’t been able to get many miles on them the trailer rides a lot smoother

Rear spring hangers broke off of my triple axle toy hauler. Repared/upgraded hangers with thicker hangers and Vee braces. One of the equalizers was also broken. Researched options, found the Moryde system best fit my needs. Also installed upgraded wet bolts and shackles. Really straight forward install. Would strongly recommend the use of heavy-duty ratchet straps to aid in moving axles back into position. Did it as a one person job.

  • How To Choose Correct MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit
In order to choose the correct MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit you'll need to know the length of your shackle straps. If you have 2-1/4" long shackle straps then you can use part # MR86ZR or if you have 3-1/8" long shackle straps you can use part # MR26ZR. These are the two most popular sizes.

Hey Joe, thanks for the information! To replace your Dexter 072-079-01 leaf springs, I recommend the 7-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 8,000-lb Trailer Axles item # EM28AJ. This is a 4,000 lbs leaf spring designed for 8,000 lbs axles. It's got 7-leafs and measures 24-7/8" from the mounting holes. The Emco item # EM28AJ is made in the USA. It's constructed of high carbon steel, which provides great shock absorption. They include nylon bushings which last longer and reduced noise. This leaf...

  • Replacement Leaf Springs and Shackles for 2012 Eclipse Attitude Toy Hauler
Hey Mordechai! I can help you find replacement leaf springs and shackles but you will have to get some measurements. For the leaf springs you either need to measure the flat length or get the spring eye to spring eye measurement. Both of these are explained in the article linked further down on this page. For example, if you find that the eye to eye measurement is 25-1/4" (accounting for it flattening over time) you can use the 5-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4"...

Reason why is this spindle accepts hubs with inner bearing L68149 and outer bearing L44649, which is exactly what the Easy Grease hub you mentioned uses, so the two will work together: - Square #84 Spindle for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # TRU47FR - Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K And as for the hanger kit and leaf springs you mentioned,...

There isn't a data base that I can reference because there isn't an industry standard when they are putting the 5th wheels together, with that being said you are going to want to double check the measurements on your current shackle straps that they are 3 1/8" from center hole to center...

Hey Jeremy. I have all of the parts you'll need but I am going to need you to take a couple of measurements. There's no database that shows me what parts you have on your toy hauler. To replace your springs, I'll need you to jack up one side of the trailer(or both) and get the bolt hole to bolt measurement off of one of your leaf springs. They tend to stretch out over years of use and this is the only accurate way, other than a part number, to find out what size you need. I'll also need...

Hi Colton; are you replacing the leaf springs as well? Is that what you mean when you say you have 4 springs 25-1/4"ish for front and rear and 26" for the rear? Replacing the equalizers isn't a bad idea while you're working on this but I don't see that being the main issue. It sounds like your leaf springs are completely worn out which is throwing everything off while allowing them to contact the trailer frame. Replacing them will likely solve your problems. Hey Chris, great to hear from you! There are only 2 kits for a triple axle trailer; the one with 2-1/4" Shackles # MR86ZR, and the one with 3-1/8" Shackles # MR26ZR. These will work with your MORryde CRE3000 system, you'll just have to verify which length shackles you have. I unfortunately don't have a list of what came on your trailer, but since you have it at a shop right now you should be able to call them and they can take this measurement for you.
